I just finished reading a Calvin&Hobbes album in French. And an hour ago, I was reading a Pokemon fanfic on DA.

A forum.
More precisely, this forum.
Do I win?

...For real, though, I'm currently reading a fanfiction crossover between Fate/Stay Night and Sekirei. I've actually never read Sekirei before, I just like F/SN and the Author ;)

Mockingjay-The final book of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It is a really good series, but very violent. I wouldn't read it if you're in a bad mood or are under 10.

I really liked the first book but after that, I don't know...

Dream physiology by sigmund freud. He's my pal.

Freud, he's pretty cool but I disagree completely with his id superego stuff.

At the moment I'm reading The Color Purple and a Tale of Two Cities (I gave up on this twice, giving it another go)

Last one was The Brightest Star in the Sky. Just started reading, like it so far.

"Algorithmen und Datenstrukturen - Eine Einführung mit Java" (translates roughly to "Algorithms and Databases - An Introduction with Java") from Gunter Saake and Kai-Uwe Sattler. Gotta read this book once I go to the university anyways, and reading it now will help me with programming.

I feel so left out XD, you're all reading these amazing books and I'm reading,
Watership Down. It may be a classic, and it may be one of the best books I've ever read; but, it's not that important.
I tried reading it when I was 6 (I was in free readers in Year 2 :P, my school has a reading scheme.) I found it boring and didn't understand it. Now I'm reading it aged 10 though. It's a breath of air from the average
CHARLIE IS A NORMAL BOY AND THEN HE GOES INTO A WARDROBE AND THEN HE GOES INTO A MAGICAL LAND AND THEN HE HAS TO DEFEAT SOME EVIL THING AND THEN HE GETS HOME AND IT WAS (normally) ALL A DREAM.
Book aimed at my age, now I'm not saying Watership Down is aimed at my age. I find it much more interesting then the books that actually ARE aimed at my age. Strangely enough.

I've recently been reading a load of revision guides, hoping that if I stare at the words long enough, I'll remember something.

Well, just got a new Elric book to my collection, "Elric at the end of time" apparently the last one. I will also read the series over again. Michael moorcock is the best.

59 Seconds which, though its title might suggest it's a suspense-thriller-story-type thing, is a self-help book.
Unlike most self-help guides out there however, it's backed up by scientific experiments. Also, it shows how some of the most common self-help advice are... myths.

Here's an example: a group of people talking about negative experiences, another group about positive things in their lives, a third one just sharing typical days. Turns out that the "optimistic" group feels better after a while, which disproves the "catharsis effect" (or any sort of effect) of sharing negative thoughts in spoken form.
Writing about a traumatic event, however, apparently happens to help. Because it tends to be more structured than speech, writing helps the person give the event a meaning. And that, as you can imagine if you have the basics of psychology, helps the person understand things and feel better.

These are my dragon persona Darren's parents. Or Darrents, if you will.

Honestly, if you guys like the Red Hot Chili Peppers I highly suggest Scar Tissue. It's a biography about Anthony Kiedis's (lead singer). Through growing up, Drugs, Sex and the whole punk rock scene in the early 1980's, to when the book was written in 04. Even if you aren't a fan I really suggest it. You become addicted. He sure had a crazy life that I am glad he shared.

Be warned: the book uses explicit language, and has 2 nude photo's

Neverending Story. Wanted to see if it lived up to the movie, considering I absolutely adore the film.
It's alright so far, but doesn't really have the same fantastical feel. Never have been a very literate person to begin with.

I'm currently reading one of Shakespeare's plays (Hamlet) right now. No, it's not for school, I'm just doing it for fun. People are probably going to think I'm crazy!

Dead Reckoning, it's the 11th novel in the Southern Vampire Mysteries (AKA the Sookie Stackhouse series). That's the series True Blood is based on. I find the books better than the show, but enjoy both.

The Social Contract, by Jean-Jacques Russeau. Really interesting and quite modern for a book written 250 years ago.
