according to Nintendo news it is, but I don't actually think it is. They would have said it was Retro Studios game if it was, most of the time when they announce a game and dont say the studio, it just means the EAD.

"Nintendo has confirmed to IGN that the title is developed by Retro Studios (developers of Metroid Prime as well as Donkey Kong Country Returns for Wii) and tells the story of animal Vikings invading Donkey Kong Island. Viking enemies shown off so far include walruses, owls, and penguins who use crossbows loaded with frozen fish."

Not to say it looked like a bad game or anything.... It looked gorgeous....was just kinda hoping for not a Donkey Kong platformer game... Honestly that was probably at the bottom of my list...

God i hope retros not doing dk. But... who else would be. Monolith soft appears to be amply filling the grand adventure void retro left behind, so I guess i shouldnt be greedy and take away their fantastic dk titles from people who love them.

i would be happy if it was a 3D DK like DK 64, but why another platformer? i want metroid and star fox!

This and Mario was super disappointing, only one new game was revealed that we didn't know about and it's a 2d platformer .. I like 2d platformer
but this is to much. Love DKCR but I wanted them to do something they haven't done before or Metroid

Well ... At least X looks awesome. Don't get me wrong, DK looks cool. But they should have had some other surprise.

Loads of people on this forum, aparently if you go back a few weeks Nintendo said they will be having multiple directs over the course of E3, Idunno dude, I'm just as confused......
