I think I'm the only one who is really excited about this. It has co-op in a 3D Mario game. I absolutely loved 3D Land, so I don't mind a sequel. The graphics look amazing, and the game looks like a lit of fun.

I agree, if people watch the dev interview you may find more things about the game that you end up liking.

 

You can control camera with gyro in gamepad or also control the camera the same as you would in Mario 64. I also like the clear pipes and find that to be a cool concept. You can get coins, and control how you go through the pipes to avoid enemies .. and you can throw fireballs inside.

I'm a die hard mario fan, my favourite game is super mario galaxy 2 annnd..... this was the biggest disapointment ever. They were probably originally planning on this being on the 3DS since the name is super mario 3D world, but then decided naw lets be lazy and make it on Wii U, and add multiplayer... that's it.... nintendo killed mario D: let's face it... they even added tanooki in this game, pause at 0:50 mario is tanooki...

I'm so happy it's not Super Mario Galaxy 3! I need to find out when Toys R Us will let me pre-order it. Gotta get this on launch day.

According to people on Twitter that are there, they said Super Mario 3D world was actually really good, so wait until you try it out at Best Buy.

I wonder if it is actually in 3D? I don't recall Nintendo outright saying that the Wii U can't support 3D...

Seeing more gameplay is making me even more excited about this title.

I really like the direction they chose. I was also expecting something in the vein of galaxy. But 3D World is gonna get a lot of people around the console, playing and having a good time. A true Mario multiplayer experience. I think it has the best chance, along with Mario Kart 8 to really get people playing the system. and gaining popularity among those who might not have played the Wii U yet.

I was hoping for something like Super Mario 64 and Sunshine, I was honestly really disappointed.
