If they have that many people working there, they HAVE to be working on something.
Yet, when i remember Reggie saying this was the Retro game they were holding on to... to think they didn`t show this last year, it`s weird.

This just can't be THE Retro game right... it's just looking like an alright sequel, nothing more. This shouldn't be a big project or something, just a quick cash-in sequel to a succesful game. :/

I'm happy with a new DK. Very happy actually since he is my favourite Nintendo character and Donkey Kong Country is one of my favourite game series. However I have to agree that I too am a bit disappointed that this is Retro's game. I was expecting something bigger like Metroid. Donkey Kong could definitely have just been handled by Nintendo.

Platinum games is working on Bayonetta 2 and Wonderful 101. Retro is working on Donkey Kong, and has to be something else still kept under wraps. Probably something only in beginning stages yet, alpha.

Retro IS working on a game that everyone wants them to work on.
and it isn't Donkey Kong.
Nintendo has already done more this E3 than they have historically done.
There are more E3 related Directs, but I don't know if we should expect any major reveals.
X... that game is insane. If there is a best of E3 award, this really needs to take the cake.

IGN also said that the Gamecube Zelda tech demo would be the next game, and that two Zelda games were in development after Wimd Waker was revealed, even though Nintendo said that the tech demo didn't necessarily represent the final game.During the IGN post-show discusion they said they believe that Retro is working on a second game that hasnt been shown yet

I really hope you're right. This DKC game looks like an amazing 2D-platformer, but after all that hype, this can't possibly be Retro's game.
Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.
