Do you think x looks as good as ps4/xb1 games?

Looks amazing and just the sort of game the Wii U needs to show off its potential. For me it had the look of a next gen game. Can't wait to see more.

I think the open world is PS4 / Xbox One impressive however on terms of graphics it seems like it could use some tuning before we hair better quality. I would absolutely love for it to be deep down quality but that's probably pushing the Ps4 to the max
....
......
Deep down took place in a tiny 30x30 foot cave and had nothing in it but the dude and the dragon.
Hilariously, the tail pipe fire in mario kart is the same fire effect people crapped themselves over with deep down.

I look at killzone and X and I say the design is amazing on X.
Raw power only gets you so far, X has such varied landscapes and they all look amazing.

Get on your wii u, get on the shop, click the e3 trailers tab, watch the x trailer, make sure the video is set to high quality.
Its the best quality feed of the trailer anywhere. Nothing else comes close.
Yeah that would be nice... if I had a Wii U. My dad always buys Nintendo consoles and guess what, NSMBU alone isn't enough to convince him and I doubt he's that interested in any Wii U game before Mario Kart comes out....
I viewed the trailer on the official Nintendo channel and though it wasn't exactly HD, it did look pretty good. Better than PS360 games, but not as good as PS4 games still... but can't complain, because the overworld is HUGE and the design looks amazing.

Yeah, it doesnt have the same high fidelity in the detail as ps4.
But its a lot more detailed than the internet stream on nintendo's site shows. They should offer a download.
The scale of the game is impressive, but the thing that struck me the most about footage that Sony had was how detailed the faces were. If the face we saw in January represents how all of the characters would look, then I would be slightly dissapointed.
Heh, guess this is your first time seeing mr. takahashis xeno series shenanigans.
He messes around with that kind of stuff all the time.
He had citan elly and fei in early xenosaga media, had kos-mos in japanese ads for xenoblade, making fun of... The characters face graphics, and a fake shulk in the X reveal trailer.
They are refusing to show main character faces, but you see plenty of npc faces, and they blow the shulk gag out of the water.

So if 'X' is a massive open world detailed game i assume it does not have load times for each section like Lego city? Guess we need to wait for release to find out?
As for looking as good as PS4,no but it's far far better than PS360 and looks like it will give Xbone a hard time.

deep down used a lot of tesselation, textures, and polygon, and yeah Mario Kart 8’s fire does look pretty amazing

Tesselation technically is polygons, It adds vertices subdividing big polys into smaller ones, and nintendos actually used it since windwaker (All water animation including boat interacting with water animation was done with tesselation on gamecube)
But yeah, I know it does, the reason its not that impressive is because it takes place in such a tiny arena. You can pool all the systems resources to focus on just that cave, the knight, and the dragon, because nothing else is being done.

The final game is obviously not gonna look like that if they want to pack a lot of on screen enemies, AI, etc in there

PS4 and XBoner look great. The PC ports will look better still. I can't wait to get a PS4 later on. BUT... I am desensitized to the graphics from upgrading the PC so many times. The gamepad could be so awesome for a game like this, and the art style, and visuals, are on par with anything I have ever seen, at least in motion.

Ooh, sorry I missed this.
Iwata confirmed X is going to be a completely seamless open world game.
No loading screens, ever.

I only saw a laggy, blurry low-res live stream of it to be honest. Can't say that impressed me, maybe I need some HD gameplay.
Aren't the trailers on the e-Shop? I think you can go watch the trailer or gameplay in HD there.
On topic: X is beautiful, and is even more than what I expected. I honestly am hyped up for this, and for SSB4 (duh).
