There is an update that allows you to backup save game data and adds new streetpass games for every region except North America (I'm guessing due to the fact America is rural and most people here never streetpass anyway). Plus the games cost money. At least I can back up saves from Gamefly rentals now.

UH! Where do you live? The city? I'm lucky if I get even two streetpasses a day. The only time I get a lot of streetpass is when I got events or something.

I barely get any Streetpasses in my area. I usually get about 4-5 a day from GameStop employees and 3DS demo units, with the occasional random Streetpass. But I got about 70/80 Streetpasses at Shadocon, and about 40 at the recent Best Buy E3 demo event. As for the update not hitting NA yet, I'm pretty annoyed. I really want to tinker with the redesigned plaza, and get some of the new puzzle pieces.

yes, a lot of people live in this "city" you speak of lol i also travel a lot between las vegas and austin Texas, tons of people, so a lot of street passes

I have never street passed anyone... I live in the middle of nowhere.
I'm same difference is I'm in a fairly moderate sized place, no one has a 3DS by me by the looks of it
