I hope you will remember everything you just said when you find yourself coming across a feral cat.  Maybe you can set an example by being nice to it by picking it up and petting it.

Boy, after the things ive lived through, a feral cat is a walk in the park. And that was just to help pay for college.

If there is no other way (which there are many, many, many, ways, ESPECIALLY if you drive around in a truck full of equipment for subduing and transporting wild animals) Ill kill the damn thing with my bare hands before i open fire in a residential neighborhood. But this was NOT a pack of feral cats. It was a litter of 8 week old kittens that werent even old enough to run away.

A litter of 8 week old kittens dumped in the woods? Thats an all expense paid trip to disney land.

This, is an 8 week old kitten. No matter how disease ridden, it is safer to all human beings around to remove it than to open fire in a neighborhood full of people.

Now an idiot Redneck humane officer obviously lacking proper training who thinks hes a cop discharging rounds in a neighborhood backyard?

THATS dangerous and could have easily killed bystanders in nearby houses.

Although nowhere near as dangerous as some little terd sociopath advocating MURDER over a difference of opinion. Ask Germany how that fun story goes.

You DO realize you did that right? You said this woman should be MURDERED; shot in the head, because she didnt think a humane officer was going to shoot 8 week old kittens in her back yard.

It looks like the police department needs to test the morals of those they let into the force more carefully

Not a police officer, a humane officer.

Replying several days after the last post does not entitle you to have suddenly have the final say.  I think people moved on from this.  Yes, I believe anything feral should be removed.  Going to change how I feel overnight?  It isn't going to happen.

So let's get this straight. It's perfectly justified to open fire in a residential neighborhood because there is a litter of 8 week old kittens that are too young to be dangerous, solely because they are feral? And this, ladies and gentleman, is why gun laws are necessary. Because people have a severe lack of common sense when handling something as dangerous as a firearm.

This officer violated public safety, and could have potentially caused severe trauma to those children. All over a litter of harmless kittens. How could you possibly make the argument that this was justified?

Also, you really think an animal deserves to die because it's feral? Does that mean that mentally ill people deserve to be killed as well? Please, explain this to me.

We already have gun laws, and mentally unstable people like this are the very reason its important to keep the right to bear arms to defend ourselves.

Someone who believes its okay to shoot a mother of four children in the head over a litter of 8 week old kittens is not going to be the one to obey the gun laws. The mother of four children is.

Unfortunately, this belief in removing guns removes gun related violence only works in a world where the people who would want to commit murder were rational law abiding people. As we can already see, there is nothing rational, or logical here. We have someone who made a knee jerk reaction, was rebuked, felt like a fool, and instead of reconsidering their logic to evaluate the actual facts, entrenched themselves in steeped emotional anger, and then began advocating murder to dissenting opinions. Yeah, that kind ofperson will obey gunlaws just fine. Until they get bum hurt and realize they can get their hands on a gun, when those other guys wont. THAT will show THEM.

In reality, its only removing a chance of defense for law abiding citizens.

I know what you mean, I probably could have used a better example.

My point that the call he made was ridiculous and by no means justified stands, though.
