As of right now, not yet. It all depends on how many banners are submitted and when they are.

Can I submit a stick figure banner?

I'd prefer if the banners had some theme related to the Wii U and are a bit more than stick figures.

I'm just going to throw out my opinion in this but, shouldn't we have the Wii U game coming out for the month as the banner? This would not apply this upcoming month but my reasoning with this is that there is one major Wii U release every month till the end of the year except for July (Unless you are in Europe, then Pikmin is in July).
August - Pikmin 3; September - The Wonderful 101; October - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD; November - Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze; December - Super Mario 3D World
Anyway, I just think it would pretty cool to have the game of the month have the banner.

When I originally proposed the idea, that was one of the options and it seemed that more people were in favor of a monthly banner vote. The idea of a hybrid came out, but I could incororate monthly guidelines depending on game releases...

@ I just want to make sure you remember that I want to re-enter my Pikmin 3 one... :3
Also, shouldn't the banners be focused on Wii U games? This is the Wii U Forums, after all...

I remember. And yes, it would be better if the banners focused on Wii U games.

Mourn, you should pin the thread to the home page, that way more people will be inclined to submit and we wont lose the URL

I'm not sure where it would look best. Would putting it next to the calendar button on the header work?

Not necessarily on the header, just on the home page above the forum sections.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to vote for a month's banner, say, 2 months before? Example: June's banner is voted upon and chosen in April, July's in May, etc. That way each banner could be used for a month, and as soon as the month is over the banner can be changed quickly. The way its done now is a little unorganized, IMO. Also, it would allow for more submissions to be used.

Yeah, it's really my fault that it's not as good as it could be. I never made a deadlines or clear enough guidelines for it. I'm going to try and get it organized while I still have the time, though. That way, once it's organized, we can keep it that way.

Hmm, I've got a creative idea. Dunno if you'll all take to it though.
On that note, upcoming release banners aren't that bad of an idea, but I'd like to think we are allowed to be more creative than that.
I have a feeling that perhaps I'm getting a little too ambitious. Oh well, considering what it is, I guess it's not really tied down to any month in particular. If I pull it off, I'll be impressed with myself.
