if it was only about the gameplay none of us would of upgraded from a nes, graphics DO make a difference
VERY true.
Graphics are a huge part of the appeal.
That's why I'm glad the Wii U includes a very capable GPU.

Anyone with knowledge about having a bigger GPU vers CPU and the ramifications about it, I would love if they could explain it in simple terms ... I know this is the case with the Wii U but what impact does that actually have?

You should take a look at some of the past hardware threads, specifically the ones with the CPU and GPU die photos.

I was trying to find those threads you are talking about but couldn't.

While slating the Vita and PS3 (your opinion) wasn't probably the best way to go about it, you are still right. Uncharted on the Vita is a good game thou. But I really think that the true point of this should concentrate more on how thou the Wii U in hardware is no comparison to the other 'next gen' consoles doesn't matter. Now I could beat around the bush and say 'oh yes the Wii u is so powerful it can blow your socks off' and that seems like what most people want to hear cos every time I have logged in there is a 'power' thread either slating the Wii U and having people mope about going oh the Wii U is made to fail but that simply isn't the case. I have never been one to rant but these threads are getting to the point where someone needs to clarify the truth and you have done just that. People also miss out that Nintendo could of upped all their specs if they had liked but they never because to stay price competitive and for the simple reason none of their games will be pushing that is does not flipping matter. Hardware can be such an illusion because if you don't have the best hardware then you feel the system is not pushing but that also isn't the case. I say if anyone really cares for a powerful system then put down your games consoles because you are never going to get a console anywhere close the actual hardware in a PC. If you want decent games then stick with the system you have. Sorry about the off topic rant but I feel that all I am seeing is these threads.

Have you finished mario NES? It was freaking hard man. I think I've only finished it once or twice, using as many of the secret exits as I could.
Oh yes, back in the day I did beat it once ... without using any of the secret exits ... and without saves, there were no saves back then ... we had to leave the NES on and just hope no one shut it off!

One thing is for sure, beyond all the tech talk, I love my Wii U !!! and it will be as powerful as the games released for it.

I also used to throw banannas around the house like I was Link and that was my boomerang... Ahh the good ol days of gaming! But yes Super Mario on NES was a hard game. You know you can continue?! lol

I'm fine with the graphics and power. Honestly, if that's what you are really concerned with, get a rigged out PC.
