There have been many gaming mascots but these characters have been in the business for many years and were the most likable in throughout videogame history. Games that are completely not related to the mascot still manage to make a cameo into the game, as a doll, a poster or a man dressed as the company's mascot.
(As for the Chocobo, he's been in all FF's than any other character or thing in FF)

What kind of sad excuse for a list is this?
Atlus? Dead... Cant even pay their bills
Sqeenix? Dead... Cant even give their games away.
Sega? Dead... Only babies and 50 year old men living in the past play Sega games
Crapcom? Need I say more... Dead.
Namco...."We want another PacMan game"....said no one ever.... hence Dead
Nintendo? Dead.....Cant even make an original game... Same rehash year after year... Dead, dead, dead just dead
So there is only one logical answer for gamings best mascot.... A mascot who has managed to be the face of a brand to sell millions upon millions of units, shattering records year after year for being the most popular game (and greatest video game franchise ever made)
What mascot is this you may wonder?\
...Nope its not Master Chef (the face of the Gaylo franchise)
