http://www.gameinfor...ynamic-duo.aspx

The criminals seem to use a variety of gadgets and guns, with the dynamic duo having access to grapnel guns, batarangs, cape gliding, and in Robin's case, a staff. The multiplayer mode is being developed by Splash Damage, who most recently released the ambitious, but flawed, Brink. Batman: Arkham Origins arrives on October 25, 2013, for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC.

The online mode will not be available on Wii U.

Once again, it seems that we'll be getting another gimped game with left out features

I just heard that to, i think its expensive to run the servers needed to offer the multiplayer option and they feel theres not enough people yet who own wii u's and buy the game and play it regularly. I do understand why they've done it and it sucks, but wii u is kind of seen as the more family friendly console so of the 3 million sold or whatever, a large percentage of owners probably only play mini games n mario kart when there friends are over.
Then you have the gamer thats nintendo loyal but wants more action games n big titles like the other consoles have (like me).
But i think we are a minority.

I have no words. I do in the end expect Wii U to sale more than gamecube did. I do think this is gamecube part 2... I'm going to enjoy the games that come to the console that aren't gimped by 3rd parties. Of course all core 1st party titles will be purchased by this guy.

this also happened with Sonic Lost Worlds Sega put online multiplayer on the 3ds version but not the WiiU is it just harder to implement online multiplayer for WiiU or is it that they don't think the WiiU version will sale well enough to warrant the purchase of a server

If true, then this is very bad news and I don't think I will buy it for Wii U.

And 3rd party develpers wonder why their games are not selling well on the Wii U.

What is up with developers putting half the effort with the Wii U, this is why 3rd party games don't sell on Nintendo consoles, this happens.

I'm just wondering why this game has multiplayer in the first place. Seems like a waste of resources. Furthermore, considering Splash Damage's last game didn't light the world on fire I'm getting the feeling we're not missing much.

multiplayer is a big deal these days as not only do you get a full campaign game, you also get an online separate game giving the gamer more for their money.
Its clearly the future from now on and the same game on wiiu will cost the same but give the customer less. Not good really .

Was planning on buying this until today, and when I read about that awesome sounding multiplayer I wanted it even more. Oh well, more money for games that matter.

A petition needs to be started. I'm ok with their business decision but no way in HELL should Wii U gamers be expected to pay full price.

In theory; most of the time it's just a waste of resources, energy, and money. You're better off doing one or the other rather than trying to do both.

I'm still getting the game on the Wii U. The multiplayer looks kinda shonky...

But yeah, we should not be treated like this as consumers, they should at the very least offer the Wii U version for a reduced price.
