Humble Paradox Weekly Bundle is up. humblebundle.com then go to weekly sale since the main bundle is a movie bundle now.

The Paradox bundle includes 5 games from Paradox's library like Mount and Blade and + 2 more if you pay more than 5 dollars. The extra 2 are Crusader Kings 2 (awesome) and one of their other games.

If I were you, I should have gotten the Origin Bundle last week too.

Get Bastion, L4D2, Limbo, Braid, Alan Wake and Alan Wake's American Nightmare, and...Team Fortress 2.

As for WW2 shooters, I can't help you much there. The only ones I've actually played are maybe Medal of Honor: Frontline and Call of Duty Classic.

Current bundles:
http://bundle-in-a-box.com
http://groupees.com/ccg
http://groupees.com/bamm
http://www.indiegala.com (this one is war games, so op might be interested)
http://www.indieroyale.com
https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly
http://www.bundlestars.com (sniper is a good game, a friend of mine told me a long long time ago not AAA but fun he said)

look at the original Operation Flashpoint, before whatever company took them over ruined the series.
afair it's ww2, but it's been a long time since i played it.
Strictly ww2 games? cod 1 and the expansion were good. 2 was alright i guess.
If you buy half-life play some day of defeat (source), it's really fun.
The stalker series are good too, but I don't think they're ww2 games, similar era though i guess. And fantastic games.
dino d-day is great, dinos versus ww2 humans.
There was a good medal of honor I played that was set in ww2 a long time ago, maybe that. Not sure which one it was though.
Red orchestra isn't too bad.
Serious Sam maybe?
I'm just going through my steam library now :D
Those are just the shootery-ww2-typey games i think you should play.
Get eclectic and you'll enjoy pc gaming much more.

Is the new Tomb raider any good

I didn't like 2 though.

This was actually the first one I played and it persuaded me to play the rest. Though I must agree it is the worst of the three. Maybe it's because it was developed by a different team?

The new Tomb Raider is great, I definitely recommend it. I also recommend Just Cause 2.

Get TF2 on Steam, it's free to play, and it only takes a few dollars to give you all the perks of a premium member. I'd also recommend Garry's Mod (a sandbox game, you can make whatever you want. There's also some game mods like Trouble in Terrorist Town), the L4D series, Half Life games, Counter Strike games, and pretty much every game from TellTale Games (if you like point and click adventures that is). I'm not even scratching the surface of how many good games there are on PC. But one of my glowing recommendations is Rogue Legacy. It's a 2D Metroidvania like game that has an extensive upgrade system, and it's very addicting.

If you liked the Mario 3D series, then you might like Portal.

I'd suggest Puzzle Agent, McPixel, Castle Crashers, Portal, Garry's Mod, and any of the Civilization games. I don't know many World War II games though. Sorry I couldn't help there.

I'm very interested to read why you relate these two games.

It's a little more of a casual puzzler with enemies restricted to simple and predictable actions. Or at least compared to half-Life

That's every game in existence.

Portal is more about comedy and satire than gameplay to me, especially 2.
