The 28 levels in question comprise the Invasion challenges, a hardcore speed-run mode that mashes existing levels together. Posters on NeoGAF note that the total number of collectible Teensies in the Vita version is reduced from 700 to 615 as a result.

When the game was announced for Vita, Ubisoft stated that it "includes all of the original Rayman Legends content, as well as five exclusive maps". It's out now in the US and Australia on Vita, but has been delayed to September 12th in Europe.

This sucks, as the Invasion levels are actually a lot of fun and really hard. May have been storage issues.

Does this version have cross-buy/cross-play with the PS3 version by any chance? Not that it applies to me, but I would have a PS Vita already if I had a PS3 solely due to cross-buy/play.

Kind of late but yes, 85 Teensies are missing.

So i'm guessing so far, PS360/PC > Wii U > PSVita

Fixed. The Wii U has 5 player co-op, Murphy makes multilayer even better, and waiting for Murphy to br able to interact with something slows the Murphy stages even more than having an AI go through the levels.

These stages were the most challenging for me and it's a shame Vita owners can't play them. I hope they release a patch for that, it just isn't fair.

The PS3 demo and PC demo both had instant murphy button presses for me, I guess you could call the PS360/PC versions hard modes and the Wii U version an easy mode.

Eh...yeah, it is missing 28 levels, but I also look at it like this.

  • It's $40, $20 cheaper than the console versions
  • It's the only handheld version of the game

So it's not all that bad. Dunno if I'd pick it up in the far future, though.

PS360/pc hard versions? You control the guy and murphy! How is that harder than trying to guide a AI through the level? You literally can choose how fast you want to go, where you want to go, and when you want to move the platforms, the Wii U you have to guide a AI and make sure he doesn't do stupid stuff! (Even more fun when it's 2 player, you can completely control murphy and do whatever you want)

I played the Wii U and 360 demo, and you had to be in a certain spot in order for Murphy to be flashing. Murphy on the Wii U is faster at rotating objects and in the way that you can interact with things as soon as it is on screen, as opposed to being right in front of something to use it.

You have one thing right. The pc version of legends is $40, $20 less than the consoles and it has every teensie and level.

I actually have both things right, I just didn't bring PC into the equation.

Yet the PC and vita versions are $40, but the PC version includes everything the consoles do. So pricing wouldn't matter for the watered down vita version.

Also I love how borderlands 2 is going to manage to be on vita. Eye, eye, eye.

Doesn't offline co-op kinda stink on the PC. You know, because of a smaller screen and no controllers.

If you have a few more controllers it works swell, also you can use big picture mode on steam and hook it up to a TV :P

My pc monitor is bigger than my tv.
And I use my wii u pro controller on my PC too.
Used to use my 360 controller, but the usb port I used to charge the controller broke so I switched.

Looks like the levels will be patched in later due to longer development than expected.

Remember when every game on Nintendo consoles had a missing feature that was to be patched in later?
me neither, because they don't get patched in later.
