You're not alone I realized this about a lot of anime I watch a about a year ago. I felt so.....yeah when I found out, I still liked the shows and kept watching them though.

Don't know if anyone is watching the new anime coming out this season but two i can highly reccomend are, Aquarion Evol an action mecha with some amazing songs and Another Anime (yes that's it's name) it looks to be a really good horror show. I've only seen the first episodes but they were soo goood.

Star driver is a very fun ride but not the directors best, Revolutionary Girl Utena and Mawaru Penguindrum while a little confusing (due to all the symbolisim) are just amazing.

I go to anime44 for new release's.

I personally could care less if it has it or not. As long as it's interesting, I'm sold.

... It can be quite annoying when people think I'm watching something else because of the ecchi, though...

Yeah it is pretty widespread among most anime now days, but I don't watch it for the ecchi if it has a good story or I really like it I tend to ignore the ecchi. I watched some of the orginal Aquarion so I might check out the new one.

Yeah Chobits is pretty funny for the most part. Trigun is a very good classic anime, it's actually my close friends favorite of all time.

I recently finished air, and I have to say that it was pretty weak. Obligatory Sad Key ending was not sad, in my opinion.
If anything, I felt more for the side characters, especially the past characters, more so than the main characters.
Now to watch Kara no Kyoukai 7.

Bludgeoning Angel Dokuru-Chan and Haruhi are the only anime I've watched with heavy ecchi. The closest to ecchi in Lucky Star is when Kagami reads yaoi a few times in the series, or the moans from the others about how large Miyuki's breasts are.Though that seemed more of a realistic slice-of-life for the female watchers.
People in my class already moan about Lauren having boobs and them not.
All 90% of the boys are interested in is that she has them at all. Yep, my class is already full of perverts, blame it on puberty :b.

Just finished watching all of Lucky Star for the 3rd time. Ohh man, I love that anime!
I'm a sucker for the 'slice-of-life' stuff and 'Haruhi Suzumiya' references.

I wish it were just a bit longer. 20 or so episodes is not enough!
