I have heard good things about Trigun, but never bothered watching it. Ill add this to my list. Is it fairly long?

Anime is Japanese for cartoon. You don't watch cartoons but you watch cartoons.

I believe what Guest was trying to say was:
"I prefer to watch eastern styles of animation, as opposed to western styles of animation"

Although Anime is essentially a cartoon, a lot of people can easily spot the difference between it's style and that of say, Spongebob Squarepants. As a result, it's not to hard to imagine that people can divide the two separately.

I watched some of it when I was young before they made brotherhood. I liked it, but of course the plot wasn't exactly accurate at the time.

I'm going to start watching either clannad or trigun once I'm done with watching the rest of wolfs rain.

The plot was accurate, though. The mangaka specifically asked for them to diverge the anime when they caught up with the manga, so as to not have filler for anime watchers and to not spoil the ending for manga readers. It was 100% intentional for the Anime to be the way it is

...Anyway, now that I'm in the anime topic...

Fate/Zero starts in early October! Now some people may have heard me hating on the Fate/Stay Night adaptation... But that's because it was done by Studio Deen, who screwed up Umineko F/Sn and Tsukihime. If that last anime even existed, that is. This one is done by Ufotable who did the Kara No Kyoukai movies... Which were beyond awesome

Well, that and because this was a normal novel. No terrible route compression that every other VN adaptation has to go through...
