Out of all the titles to pick to make an HD version they pick this?!? Dumb move Nintendo. People already have Nintendo Land.
If the game was amazing but Wii Sports is not.
Kinda tempted to pick up bowling and tennis now, even though I have the original. >> Can't see them giving Resort the same treatment, as that would be $120 total. Perhaps $5 each would've been a better price point, especially since they didn't seem to give the remake that much love, (noticed lack of AA in screenshots...) but guess we'll see.
They're just ports, not remakes.
There's nothing to remake.
No story, the graphics were designed to be super simple so people wouldn't be put off by it.
They're charging a tenner because they're a business, they believe they can get away with it.
When Nintendo have released these kinds of things they usually have a get them all for the full price less one of the pieces. (streetpass games, nsmb2 dlc)
I'd like that offer because I'm a sucker for completionism. I'd probably never play the baseball one, but knowing it's in the full package but not available to me would kill me.
Tennis and boxing were the ones I'd actually put the disc in my wii every once in a while for back when I had countless other wii games to play.
"Wii Sports Club" is the actual name by the way, not Wii Sports HD. It's either a port or a sequel, however you want to think of it.
The model looks like they won't stop at just the original 5 sports from Wii Sports either, they'd be stupid to stop there.
Treat it like a hub as the name suggests, adding new sports as they feel our money-holding devices are ready for them.
What I wonder is if they're using the upad for anything?
I think a simple videochat service while you're playing online would be kinda fun, put the upad on the stand in front of the tv, it'd be like what nintendo keep telling us they want, like you're both in the same room playing together.
