WayForward, the developer behind DuckTales Remastered and Shantae , have revealed on Reddit that they would love to make a game in the My Little Pony series. WayForward’s Game Director Adam Tierney explained in a Ask Me Anything thread that there’s a lot of developers at WayForward who would absolutely love to work on a Pony game. Tierney said that if people want a My Little Pony game then they really need to contact Hasbro.

Oh, and we’re 100% not kidding, people – SO many people here at WayForward wanna make a My Little Pony: FiM game. Lauren Faust ROCKS. Make it happen, Bronies! You guys should email Hasbro – tell them how much you’d like to see a WF-developed FiM game

It would be an interesting move from WayForward, considering that they're more than familiar with making games based off of cartoons.

 

Though I don't think the comment section on MyNintendoNews seems to share my opinion.

If Wayforward can make a fun, competent MLP game, I say they should go for it.

They made all the mighty games, a regular show game, and two adventure time games, pretty sure this one is gonna be like an epic fighting smash bros type game.

If they can do it, why not I suppose. That is of course assuming they can make it happen.

I'm not a brony, but I'd give it a go. Heck, WayForward could make a game called Magic Donkey Grass Mowing and It'd probably be pretty good.

Interesting, but I'd have to see it before I'd consider buying it. For example, I'm not really interested in the Regular Show game, even though I enjoy that cartoon.

 

It would probably have to be something other than a 2D platformer to catch my interest, personally.
