I genuinely enjoy the pokemon tv show and I don't watch it out of nostalgia.

I like Call of Duty.

I like all of the platformers on the Wii U and gladly welcome more.

Super Mario 3D World is a fun game, but it's nothing amazing. Pretty much just as I expected it to be. The game is majorly overhyped.

 

Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald are the poorest entries to the Pokemon series. I know back in the day, this used to be the popular opinion, but lately, perhaps with younger fans of which R/S/E were their firsts, the popular opinion has flipped... Somehow Generation IV is now hated, and Generation III is loved. It's not that I don't like R/S/E, I just think they pale in comparison to the rest.

 

I prefer 3D Zelda over 2D Zelda

 

(This is probably a very common opinion among the Nintendo fandom, but I still feel alone) - I do not care for super realistic violent games of any kind. It's not that I devalue them and get onto others for playing them, they just aren't for me at all.

 

Super Mario Sunshine > Super Mario Galaxy 1/2 and the even more linear Super Mario 3D Land/World

 

Remastered ports (ex. Wind Waker HD and Ocarina of Time 3D) should never be released outside of cheaper collections. Otherwise, actually remake the games.

resident evil remake is by far the best resident evil game, much better than 4. Resident evil 4 was the start of the downfall for the series.

Brawl is better than Melee.

 

I actually signed in just to like this comment.

I understand that melee was more competitive, and I respect that, but my word does the community blow that crap out of proportion. I still would play brawl over melee any day.

I like shooters in general, (was pretty sick at goldeneye (js) but) and CoD is included in that, but I just can't stand the fans. Most of them are just insecure children who think shooting people makes them men.

I'm the same way. I can't stand the fanbase, but that doesn't stop me from liking it. That's why there is the mute option.

I don't like Goldeneye 64. Having never grown up with it, I only see it as a terribly outdated shooter that set a framework games like Halo perfected.

1. Agree completely

2. More of a CS guy but TF2 is pretty good but got worse when it went F2P

3. I would say at this point PS4 and Xbone aren't worth owning and Wii U is just barely worth owning for a non-fanboy

Lord of the Rings Conquest, despite being mediocre, was one of my favorite multi-player games until the servers got shut down.

 

I don't care for 90% of Nintendo's Dormant IPs that I know everyone loves and wants revived(Golden Sun, Star fox,etc). I just want another Glory of Heracles game.

 

The Best Pokemon games were Black/White.

 

I actually want another videogame market crash so we can purge the market of this AAA publisher greed. Sure, it would kill 99% of the industry, but EA/Activision/nearly every company has been acting like greed machines.

 

World of Warcraft is still a good game.

 

I actually enjoy mobile gaming when the games make sense around it. FF3 doesn't, but something like Ingress or Doctor Who: Legacy, something that can be played in spurts, is amazing when I need a few minutes to kill.

I loved that game so much, tons of fun, never even bought it though I just played the Demo on 360 like a ton of times cause it had online

Project X Zone was actually a pretty good game, yes it was lacking in some aspects, but it was a lot of fun to play
Also Super Mario Sunshine is one of the best Mario games

1. I think Crash was great.

2. I think the Last of Us had a great story but the game was kind of meh.

3. I want to see more People of Colour and Woman. 

4. British devs are the best......... only joking... 

5. I think the Dreamcast 2 and Gamecube 2 would have sold better than all three console because they sound awesome.

6. Mario Sunshine is still better than all the games on Gamecube but not Super Monkey and MarioKart DoubleDash.

Wii U gamepad is an annoyance when it forced you to poke the screen.  My eyes want to be on the Tv, not the gamepad.

 

Less remakes.

half-life 1 is an overrated fps. 

 

Half-Life is actually a well-designed game, though, even if it started the devolution of the FPS'.

 

I agree to some point, but feel it's only easy because of the incredibly precise controls. If Meatboy handled differently it could have been much harder.

 

Then Super Meat Boy would have been a broken game and no one would care about it, just like no one cares about Meat Boy the flash game.

 

No, Super Meat Boy's problem is a failure in design, not a failure in programming. if you fail you simply restart from the beginning of the level, which may sound like a reasonable punishment at first, until you realize that the average length of a level in SMB is an outstanding 20 seconds long and, what's even worse, you're free to repeat this pathetic segment Team Meat calls a level an innumerable amount of times until causality gets fed up with you and demands a different outcome. There isn't a "lives" system. The game doesn't discriminate against a skilled player or a bad player. That's not difficulty.

 

That's like downloading a SNES emulator, booting up Super Mario World, and hitting "Save State" every 10 seconds.

Oh boy, here comes a flame war.

 

I think Skyward Sword is the worst 3D Zelda game, coming overall second only to Zelda 2.

I thought the Zelda DS games were great.

I rather enjoyed my time spent with Skyrim, and actually really dislike Morowind. 

I think the Pokemon games are great time wasters, but not much else.

I feel like quick-time-events, when implemented correctly, can be a good thing. (Heavy Rain, Asura's Wrath).

I don't hate modern Capcom.

I think that Saint's Row is better than GTA.

I feel like 3D Mario is better than 2D Mario.

I thought the Wii was a pretty awesome last gen console.

I really disliked Last Story.

I don't care for many NES games, instead I really love the Super Nintendo.

I feel like at this point in time the Xbox One is a better investment than the PS4, but the PS4 will become the better console in the long run.

FF XIII is one of my favorite games ever. 

 

Pokemon B/W/B2/W2 are the worst Pokemon games of all time. 

 

Xbone sucks.
