Hopefully they won't cancel. If they do I can still buy it for the PS3, but I'd rather buy it for the Wii U.

At this stage of development I'm confident they're not going to cancel. In a way we have a unique opportunity as WiiUsers because this might mean they are working out kinks in our console that they won't be working out in the other consoles. More time for development, as it were. 
FYI PS4 etc are getting it on July 27. Not sure what that means for us...

Why does wiiu keep getting screwed sure it is partly nintendos fault for not meeting with the developers beforehand maybe its being delayed so they can make it work with the gamepad because ps4 and xbox1 have almost the same controller and were talking with the developers probably when the game was announced

Well, our game has been delayed not cancelled. I don't think that means we're getting "screwed." Just means we have to wait longer than the xbones and ps4s.

Not interested in the game but I was at least hoping Wii U version would be closer to PS4 graphics than last gen, will have to wait and see I suppose.

I doubt they'll cancel this game for the Wii U, but I reckon it's the last AAA title we'll get from Ubisoft and I can't say I blame them.

Same here, I was just about set to get it on wii u after hearing all the praise that Ubisoft will use the gamepad in a innovative way for the game. But unfortunately, with this delay, I'm going with the ps4 version

Guys, if you're going to get the game, just stay the course and get the Wii U version. It's not an essential purchase, it's not crack, and this isn't high school (though maybe you are in high school?). You're not going to die, go into withdrawal, or be less cool if you get the game later than other people.
If you're worried about online play, I'm sure you'll able to find people with the Wii U version online, even if you have to use a forum like this or NintendoLife to organize it.

If they were giving us an high quality port it would launch along with the other versions.

I agree completely. Get it on Wii U if you're going to get it. We need sales to reflect that we're actually a viable market. Otherwise we're not going to be getting any quality games in the future, and our console is kaput.
