It seems Nintendo has discovered the magic of next gen loading times. Let us all rejoice!
But seriously, why does this game require significant loading time? I don't understand how something like DKC:TF could need to spend time loading.

not exactly an excuse, but I'm sure this is because it's the Wii-u's largest game to date at 12GB. I could see this being fixed via a patch.

Fixed.not exactly an excuse, but I'm sure this is because it's Nintendo's largest game to date at 12GB. I could see this being fixed via a patch.

Those loading screens are so bad, I thought the game froze.

Still not as bad as the ones in LEGO CITY: Undercover.
Now that is some seriously long loading times.
At least it's accompanied by some rather catchy music, though.

excuse me, from nintendo. I could be wrong, but none of their 1st party titles are larger than DK, and by that they may not be as "knowledgeable" around dealing with load times of this magnitude. I might even have to imagine this had something to do with the games initial delay in the 1st place.

You never seen a loading screen until you have used a Neo Geo CD. Only thing that came close is Sonic 06

I remember thinking my wii u froze in lego city it was so bad i turned mine off one time. Same with Ryse on Xbox One too though. I dont think its Nintendo's fault.

Seriously? It takes 12 seconds longer to load 42x more data from disc, using 1024 MB of ram instead of the 24 Mb 1tsram dkcr used, and people are crapping themselves? Why do you people think the wii, the least powerful system of last gen, had the MOST games with 'no load times' by a landslide? I still remember waiting 3 minutes for the last of us to load to start/continue playing. You know, back when my ps3 wasnt a useless paper weight that just gives me the crappy yellow light like it was its middle finger.
Whatever, good, dont buy the game. Reinforce the message people are tired of being oversaturated with platformers. If you people want to be idiotic morons at least I can use you to get what I want.
