Nintendo has announced that if you register a copy of MK8 at Club Nintendo before July 31st, you will get a free download version of one of the following four games (US):

 

New Super Mario Bros U

Pikmin 3

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD

Wii Party U

 

Europe list:

 

Nintendo Land

Sonic Lost World

Super Mario Bros.U

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games (forgot the name, the winter sochi one)

Getting Pikmin 3 cause I already have NSMBU and Wind Waker, and I don't care about Wii Party U. I didn't really care about Pikmin 2, but I'm not going to pass up on a free game.

I was just looking at this. I'm ordering with shopto.net so that means I get a free t-shirt and a free download!

I mean, if anyone could find an excuse to not pick up a Wii U with this game, they officially just lost it.

Wow, this is great. Does anyone know if the save data for the digital downloads and physical downloads are separate? For example: if I do download Pikmin, then eventually buy a physical copy, would be physical copy be able to play the save data from the digital version?

 

Because I'm not too keen on only having a digital copy of it.

I have Wind Waker on Gamecube but still kinda want it in HD. That or Pikmin 3. Not sure which.

I'll problably get Wii Party U. I think I'd prefer Pikmin, but this would be the only way to get the downloaded version of Wii Party U.

lol I should think so too!

Too much 50hz old school games, NA/Japan games not appearing over here or coming much later. You guys can be jelly for once!

 

Was getting MK8 obviously anyway but this is a great gesture by Ninty, think I'll go for WW HD. it's the only AAA title I don't have yet on Wii U.

 

That Euro list though :P
