just downloaded the update for the console (man i forgot how long that takes lol) and just charging my pad,then its mario kart time for the rest of the night oh i got my free game code too and chose zelda so will be downloading that asap as well....CANT WAIT

Downloaded it last night 1 hour. It's fun, looks sharp, I will be playing more today.

MK1 offer worked but still waiting on deluxe points. And I have to wait until August for my free game.

Picked it up, games great except a few small but annoying flaws.

Recemend playing in custom if you want to play smaller lobbies

Whew! When I got to the store (Walmart) there was literally about 4-6 people waiting to get Mario Kart 8 from the game case. Glad I came out with one!

WOW!!! best mario kart i have played,excellent game and i find it more challenging than the others on 150cc which is good,graphics nice,gameplay brill,,,,i even won my first 2 online games with a couple of Japanese in the room came 7th in my 3rd though,,,,,first impressions,,,,,LOVE IT
