Game looks incredibly fun.

definitely looks fun, but i would classify it as a coop game based on what i seen so far, haven't seen very much for competitive multyplayer.

Splatoon does look God tier...if they have enough content and variety packed inside it will easily be multiplayer game of this gen

Open world games can sometimes get boring quickly so I would put MK8, Splatoon, Evolve and Super Smash before Overdrive for multiplayer.

I enjoyed Dead Rising 3. I think it will be something similar just with crazy freeroaming. It will be fun coop and sp I think.

Hard to tell when we're in the beginning on the gen and Sunset Overdrive hasn't released. We don't even know if it'll turn out to be a good game; from what they've shown it looks like it could be a sucessor to the Crackdown formula or just an open-world game that gets boring fast because you're stupidly overpowered. I really hope it doesn't come down to the latter, because it honestly looks like a lot of fun.

That's probably because you're playing the wrong games. Try out Just Cause 2 or Crackdown; those two are probably the best open-world games from the previous gen.
