Just a thread about films that have come out in 2011. Have you seen any good films this year or are there any films that are coming out that you are looking forward to. I'm personally looking forward to seeing PotC, Captain and America, Green Lantern and the last Harry Potter movie (might as well seeing as its the last).

So far this year I've seen the King's Speech, and it was pretty good and different from the usual films that I watch.

I want to see the Harry Potter movie that's coming out. I haven't gotten around to reading the last couple of books yet.

I also want to watch Rango. It looks awesome and Johnny Depp is awesome.


Rio looks okay and I'm interested in seeing that too.


There's also Fast Five, Transformers 3 and that new Pirates of the Caribbean movie

One of the first, or even the first free movie ever. Everything is made by volunteers, and all special effects are made with Blender.

Scream 4, or 'SCRE4M', was really good. =) It had a great ending. Also, The Invention of Hugo Cabret comes out this year.

I saw a Super 8 trailer at the cinema but I have no idea what its about. I'm also looking forward to HP7, First Class, Captain America and Green Lantern.

I've mostly seen trailers; Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean 4, Scre4m, Rango, Rio... I should definitely check the actual movies sometime.
Oh, and... Project London sounds, if not good, at least fun. I really wanna watch it now.

I went to go see the new pirates of the Caribbean movie today for a friends birthday (No not that friend, that I may have mentioned in another topic... Though she was there too ), and the three of us all agreed that it was awesome.

Pacing, Acting, length... The movie suffers from no problems many modern movies suffer from. So go see it. Now.

Went to see X-men yesterday... it was really good. It is definitely my favourite X-men film to date and my favourite film so far this year.

I saw Super 8 this weekend. It was sweet. It seemed to miss that kind of "heart" it was going for, but it had a decent story and some awesome action and atmosphere. I've also told everyone I know that the train wreck near the beginning of the film is one of the best sequences I've ever seen in any movie. Seriously, it just goes up to eleven.
