Aw fudge, when 3Dude first posted that screen I thought it was a freakin PC game that he was using to talk about tesselation or some technical babble. That's just sexy, idk what else to say.



Also, I hope this game has some sort of damage modelling, sparks and explosions when you crash hard. Just some stuff to make the cars feel more weighty because they don't feel heavy in League.

Take a leaf out of Most Wanted's book, that game made the cars feel real weighty.

That would be really cool. I have no idea what shin'en is doing with their physics engine beyond one statement 'Our physics runs at 240 fps'.

@MaxWill37699872 Yeah, streets took a lot of resolution. Tho biggest textures are used for the shadows.

Confirmed that this nice looking game is running at 720p @ 60fps, a nice thing to know; and shows that the Wii U MosDef has some muscle.

Was hoping this would be 1080p, but don't mind this. Even with my 70inch 1080p TV I can barely tell between 720p and 1080p, especially when the game is moving quickly.

Was hoping this would be 1080p, but don't mind this. Even with my 70inch 1080p TV I can barely tell between 720p and 1080p, especially when the game is moving quickly.

 

Lets stop hoping for Wii U games to be 1080p lets just get over that already.

rayman which is also on ps360, windwaker which is a GC port.... What else does it have..... Monster hunter 3u which is a wii or 3ds port... anything else? i mean high profile I know there are some 2d indie games but in my opinion they dont really push the system.

where are you getting this information from. upscaled and native are totally different. a simple google search will show you most of these things are not true as far as native resolution goes. As far as Wii U getting better over time that would be good to see but who really is going to push games on the system to show better graphics? I just do not see much more than what is happening now. i could be wrong but I doubt it. I think Wii U is a 720p 60fps console *IF* developers know and use the console right and that is nothing to be ashamed of. better textures, no screen tearing, and 720p 60fps is what I think Nintendo aimed for with keeping backwards capability and low heat/wattage console.

Pes 2015 is 1080 on ps4 and 720 on X1.  :)

The wii u can do 1080p easily. The problem is, using that fillrate to fill those extra pixels you have when going from 720p to 1080p takes away from the fillrate used for those effects that make the best looking wii u games look so good.

Thats why shin en dropped nano assault hd from 1080p to 720p with more effects.

With only 8 rops, the wii u will always have to choose.

Probably over the next few weeks. .... I hope. Really looking forward to some shots with the cars on track.
