It does change how people think about you. I first though Waller was a girl... but then someone(or him, i forgot) told me he is a he.

It doesn't change how I act. Before I had an avatar of Samus now I have one of Marth, I just like to put characters I like as my avatar. I do however, think people will get a certain opinion of you depending on your avatar. For instance, If I have a serious looking avatar I would definitely think people would think I am a more serious poster, where as, if I have some wierd of funny avatar, people would more likely get the impression that I am a less serious poster. Sometimes with new users I think this of them until I read there post to find out what they are really like.

My avatar has no effect on the way I act, my avatar is just something I think looks good at the time I change it very often on other forums. Point in case it dosen't define me.
