This game is awesome. I Like how I can play by myself and work on bounties and farm materials OR If I'm up for it, I can join my buddies online. Been playing everyday since launch. Good thing this is an always online game, makes every day different

so destiny is a slightly above par halo like shooter from the sound of it.
Or be a less rainbowy conduit for those who can't play halo =/.
From the sound of it, it seems like a fps, with a monster hunter esque progression system.

The game is pretty awesome.
Only two glaring weak points:
1) major holes in a story that simply refuses to be told in any satisfying detail.
2) a progression system that will not be easily understood if you simply play the game. You'd be hard pressed to know what you're doing beyond level 20 unless you read about in on the Internet.
2a) the confusing item rewards. Thy are random. And when they are encrypted, the item you receive from the crypt arch doesn't mwtch the encrypted color. A bit frustrating.
Other than that, the game is simply epic. Great graphics, sound, control, physics, a variety of ways to play. Great enemies. Good challenge. Constantly updated quests, etc.
Satisfied with its the game already. However, I do feel activision has dinged it a bit with the dlc. It seems like they cut pieces out to use as expansions. Feeling like I have to wait for those to fill in gigantic story holes.
