I'm not quite sure what the intention was for, but​ that last line was rather passive aggressive.

Anyway, how can we even know for sure when we haven't even played the game? We are purely basing on quotes and trailers right now. I have to admit, from your explanation it would be understandable as to why rails aren't a good thing along with merely button mashing. The creator said that he also wanted to keep the gameplay's complexity though.

Well, we do know there will be no button mashing. You fill your move deck with moves, and then hold down the attack button and the cpu decides which one to use and creates a combo for you.

Is the "deck" combat similar to Kingdom Hearts? You know, how there is a menu in the corner and you hit a button to attack?

Seems more streamlined. You dont choose your cards anymore, cycle through them for combos and link bonuses. You dump them in, hold the button, and the computer decides what you use.
