Saw this coming from a mile away.

 

You know they really shouldn't have ported the game to Wii U in the first place.

 

The game came out in May on everything else......comes out in November on Wii U.  A full 6 months late to the party there, Ubisoft.

 

Then they say that this is the last "mature" game they're making for the Wii U because "mature games don't sell well on the Wii U."  It could be because they haven't put in an effort to reach out to the U fanbase but.........potato pototo.

 

Then instead of going out with a bang and giving us the DLC as well........they don't give it to us.

ZombiU is a great game and it sold pretty well.

Ubisoft didn't seem to think so. They were not happy with sales and because of that said there would be no ZombiU 2.

I have no desire to buy Ubisoft games either, they're behaving like complete morons and are being glutton for punishment with negative PR. What they failed to realise with Zombi U is that two consoles lingered in the shadows that casted the public to contemplate the idea of investing in WII U. Once all systems were out and the dust settled; the WII U is looking to be the most entertaining and cost effective option.

 

Ubisoft put faith in the launch with over ths top expectations and seemingly never got over it. Watch Dogs proves how short sighted the company is acting and how their image to Nintendo's audience is far from a priority.

There were some rumours in that direction (some quotes from an interview noone actually saw or something like that), but I don't think it was confirmed, if I recall correctly. Ubisoft are (most of the time) not stupid, half a million is quite good for such a niche launch game.

I put that under 'Unisofts excuses'. Maybe besides learning how to use the Wii U dev, and researching the gamepad use they put it. But besides that I have no idea where all that money would've gone. Not in graphics, marketing, ect.

Huh. I don't know if there's anything we can do to help Ubisoft realise we want mature third party games, since it seems like Ubisoft's mind is already made up.

I just...how is this... can human stupidity...Ugh. THE AMOUNT OF STUPIDITY. SIX MONTH DELAY FOR SOMETHING THAT COULD'VE BEEN DAY 1. AND NO DLC SUPPORT OR SIMPLY INCLUDED. I'M SORRY. THIS PHYSICALLY HURTS.
