I am still wondering about the 8 players thing. Guess we will know all from the direct/event on the 23rd. Could be 8 players in the game board mode too..?

 I think the game board mode would be interesting. A take on Mario Party would be fun for Smash Bros. Although... I'm not sure if we would want that since Mario Party can ruin friendships.
