I'll also ignore that you said a reward isn't a reward because the game gives you a reward after you dodge just because that's the way it is, heh.
Using Batman as an example is laughable a very simplistic crap dumb combat system. That's the kinda garbage that gets action games more popular is making them dumb. It's super simple combat with button prompt and rinse and repeat.
