Aonuma mentioned that many styles were considered to suit a Zelda game set in a wide world before deciding on the current visuals. On the topic of graphics, Aonuma teases: “Now it looks more amazing than what was shown at E3.”

Aonuma additionally notes that the enemy shown in the debut trailer is something not previously seen in the series as you have to come up with a strategy while escaping on horse. He stresses that “If an enemy like this appears, how would you beat it?” is a situation which the team has tried to include in the game.

Finding it hard to comprehend what it'll look like if it looks even better than before... Also, this seems to confirm that the sequence we saw at E3 2014 is indeed gameplay, not just an in-engine cutscene. Can't wait to see more at E3!

My desktop wallpaper is of the game.  I'm almost disturbed that he is saying it will look better than that.  The thought in my head is, "Oh no.  What wonderful things did they have to drop from the game to make it look even better."  But, of course, I can't really have much of an opinion on anything until we see more.

Ugh the hype is starting to build and it could be a year + before the game even comes out ;;

but this is what I love about Nintendo. They show you an incredible product at E3, and the finished product looks at least as good, often better. So when they say this sort of thing, you know they're not just lying to build hype.

Ubisoft on the other hand...

They must have some amazing programmers, since people already thought it looked better than what the Wii U can do.

You know the games visuals for Nintendo always gets worked on and improved as the development matures.

I wonder if we'll get a new sneak peek during a January direct or if they wait till e3.

It's a Zelda game, I'm sure they're aware of everyone's expectations and will do their best to match them. If we can judge by the all the games Nintendo has made for Wii u so far, I feel like you don't even have to worry about it. I mean Smash had HUGE expectations and it met pretty much all of them.

True. I can't name one Nintendo exclusive I own that failed. They're doing great.
