It actually works quite well in a dark room (may need a few seconds at first to see you) I even tried in a pitch black room

Tip, you get wider angles when you remove any glasses you wear and make sure there are not obstructions on your face

But without glasses everything looks blurry too

This action was announced 2 days ago, how did people already receive the package? I ordered it right away and, apart from the fact that the site mentioned a 'receive within 7 days line', I am wondering when it will actually arrive at my doorstep.

I'm still waiting for the dispatch email, I have had emails in the meantime explaining how to transfer data.
Was hoping to have it by the weekend but I supose I'll have to wait until next week :-(

You should still be able to order things online with are card even if the banks are closed

 

Also, it took me 18 mins to download MH3 on the New 3DS

Yes it does, quite good actually

Going to hopefully have a review written for the New 3DS either tonight or tomorrow

Here it is unpacked, I'm sure that you've all seen plenty of pics online already.

I haven't got time tonight to actually play it but it feels lovely in the hand. The new top buttons aren't in the place I thought they'd be either but sit just right.

Once the kids are in bed I might pop a game in and fire it up.

Great stuff. Always played the XL but now got the New 3ds. It is not the sreensize that limits my pleasure but the slightly smaller space for the buttons and stucks. Got cramp in my fingers after player mh3 for a 20 minutes. Maybe my muscles just need to adapt

I've not used an XL before but compared to my standard 3DS this New version has a much better lay out and feel to it. I too used to cramp up in my old 3DS but have high hopes for this one.

MH3U will be tested by me to iffy to see if its that little bit more playable with the nubbin.

I've been playing Monster Hunter a lot recently (especially on the buss) and I haven't got cramping at all... then again I am still on the easy Level 3 stuff
