stop selling your systems because games arent out that you want yet.

 

I would say buy a system that has a game you want and will last you a while.

Then keep that system and build up your game library.

Then buy another system at a later time with a game you will play.

 

Never, i repeat NEVER SELL YOUR SYSTEMS.

your always end up wanting to play a game on that system at a later date. Hell i still have a ps2 and my girl brought a gameboy color last year because she wanted to play the old pokemon.

Big part of why I collect. Like having a library of books. I can't just open the cases tho and play them I need the hardware as well. Sure some games not played in a while but know I will. There are rare cases I realize I have a game I just did not like and never plan to play again and get rid of it. Thankfully those are rare and everytime been a used game I got cheap anyway.

 

When I was younger did trade away a couple systems and always regretted it. Still not got around to getting a translucent purple Game Boy Color again or Artic GBA. Did get a silver Gamecube tho at a yard salein great condistion complete with GBA player for cheap. If there is a game I really want on a system I save up a few months get that system and game and I know other games will be there I can get to compliment it and others to come. For Wii U well I knew it had games to tide me over until Bayonetta and XCX.

Mega Man is in the Wii U's Virtual Console Library. Only about $10 as opposed to spending $50 tracking down an original copy.

 

 

And honestly? I really say just stick to something. All the money you've lost by reselling for less than what you paid could've gotten you another console or a very decent library.

I've got an idea:

Get yourself addicted to Cardboard Crack. Then you'll have a reason to justify wasting all the money you have. Plus, you can sell the CC for a relatively decent price with the right pulls.
