Valentine's day. It's that special time a year when couples shower each other with gifts while single people look on and want them to die.

I was wondering what are your thoughts about this celebration and what are you gonna be doing with your gf  today.

 

I usually give small gifts to my teachers and friends and get to eat a lot of sweets.

I personally like it and don't think it really matters if you're single or in a relationship, It's all about the chocolate you can celebrate the people you apreciate. I hope everyone here can enjoy whatever we're doing that day, even if it's the same as any other day (but with chocolate!!) and celebrate any kind of love we have.

I plan to sit down and play Majora's Mask 3D with my husband. Valentine's day is a lame holiday, in my opinion. I don't need anything else but my games.

I don't care about valentines day that much but my gf does..
I will take her to a restaurant or a spa some other day, right now I'm in Stockholm with some friends to see Tenacious D later tonight ;p

I decided to myself a few days ago that if I'm not going to have a date for Valentines day, I'd surround myself with people like me, all Dateless nerds who have nothing better to do on a day celebrating romance.

That's Right Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm talking Magic: The Gathering Game Day. What better way to celebrate the day of love then with such unforgettable expressions of it by pounding the Frick out of other people using cards such as "Become Immense", " Giant Growth", and my personal favorite "Stab Wound".

So happy Valentine's Day everyone, and remember to shuffle cards responsibly

Personally I find Valentine's Day a waste of time. Not only does it make people inconsiderate to their single friends on social networks by them going crazy with the VD selfies but it also proves how pathetic some people are that they show their love because big corporations tell you too. Surely you should show affection like you do on Valentine's Day more regularly than once every 364 days... also someone I loved convinced me they committed suicide on Valentine's Day a few years ago, so for those who bother about me hating on it, I actually have a good reason to.

Watched Fifty Shades of Grey with the gf and then went out to dinner.

Oh and we had to visit my cousins earlier in the day since it's her birthday on Valentine's Day, kind of awkward and annoying with how formal my family can be at times but it's bearable.

I spent the entire day thinking that valentine's day was yesterday. So I didn't do anything today or yesterday, but it's not like I do anything for the day anyways.

 

Then again, I'm just a cynic when it comes to love and don't really believe it exists. At the very least I didn't go out of my way to annoy anyone else or criticize them or their loved ones during the time period.
