Well, hopefully they have more surprises on the Smash Direct. We kinda already knew these were coming based off of some files a hacker (or file-searcher, whatever) found around the time of the Mewtwo update. :T

Watched some gameplay of Roy.... And after a lot of people saying he's a clone (Not here, but on Reddt and other places):

No, I don't care if some of his move have the same animations as Marth. Totally different play style from him. His moves have different range, knockback, damage, trajectories, lag, etc. Neutral B, way different, doing 50% and killing at 0% when fully charged. Down throw has no where near the knockback of Marth's, so it's a combo throw. Same for his other throws, it's actually looking like they didn't make his throws much different from Melee. He's overall looking like a better character than Marth.

Point: He's not near as much of a clone as everyone was making him out to be. The difference between Marth and Roy is much bigger than that of Marth and Lucina.

There's also leaked models of additional Mii outfights for Zero from MMX, Isabelle, Mega Man EXE, Heihachi, Akira, and Jacky (yes Ryudo, from Virtua Fighter).

Well, looks like there won't be any more smash games.

 

It was a nice run everyone. To the hackers: I understand, it's your thing. To the pro smashers: screw off and play a real game like Brawl or SMT Nocturne 3, Melee is an aged piece of garbage.
