Anyway, I kinda like the current situation here with a small community, despite the site being "the largest Wii U Community in the World." My only issue is that the Chat is usually empty. It's not a big deal though.

Well the 3ds forums sure took a massive boost of people around E3 2010 and even more when it launched. Went from hundreds to thousands in like a week I believe.
I don't really recall a massive boost during E3. It was still pretty small there.

That there is a graph depicting the forum's growth (taken from Aether lol). E3 2010 is actually what drove the inception of the forum, but as you can see, it didn't really push growth. Growth started 'round January of 2011, prior to the Japanese launch when David held his pizza party stream. And the worldwide launch pushed everything way up. From that point on, the forum consistently got around 800+ new members a month. But yeah, E3 2011 did experience a small spike with 1200 members joining. I imagine holidays 2011 also experienced a jump in memberships, but I can never really tell since most of these members aren't very active contributors.

Okay, I was probably mixing up the launch areas with E3.

I guess we'll just have to sit back and wait to see how this community goes in the future.

Hpefully they are cool.I agree with Lain. I prefer a small comfy community. However, there will be an inevitable large increase of members after this yers E3 and even more once the Wii U releases.

I'm sure a fair amount of them will be. But I am also sure there will be those handful few who will be here to just to hate on the Wii U until Feld0, AMAC or a moderator decides to ban them. There will also be some who will try and build a reputation for themselves by being a 'troll'; pretty much the 3DS Forums people.

And I was just starting to know you guys after 3 months. I wonder how long it will take for me to know all of those people? 3 years?

As for getting to know all of the new members that join around E3, it shouldn't be too hard. When David from 3DS Forums became an admin back in June last year, I thought it would take ages to get to know all of the new members, but after a couple of days I recognised most of the active members.

Well then, how about 'Like' my post then!?
As for the secret lounge, I agree. I like being a part of secretive organisations...
