But it'll probably be Romney, which I'm okay with.
Santorum is bleh, but I like him more than Obama.

You are seriously Wiitarded if you would rather have Santorum over Obama.
Dude, please, no insults. You can state your point without stooping to that level. People aren't insulting you, your religon, your favorite film, your family. They are insulting a man who, regardless of your political opinion, hasn't exactly done the best job of running the country.( This is coming from a person who supported Obama.) And don't say it's all Bush's fault. That worked for the first few years. It doesn't work now that he's had 3-4 years to fix the problem. GET OVER IT.
Also, I agree with Andy. The whole system needs to be fixed, from limits on congress to the parties needing to realize that they were elected BY THE PEOPLE, to do the will of THE PEOPLE, and They are there to FIX/IMPROVE the US, NOT play slap fights over issues. Every single politican should be kicked and the US should go to a different system.

I dislike how American politics are given such importance elsewhere.
I agree. I don't know why American politics is such a big deal here in Australian news. We've got our OWN bloody political system to focus on!
Funny you say this, when we get forced to vote idiot 1 or idiot 2. And then, idiot 1 or 2 will likely get usurped by idiot 1 tier 2.
I voted for the one who had the larger monkey ears. But then the 'Orangutan' haired person got the position.
Moral? They are all monkeys.

Hell no. Santorum is one of the dumbest Wiis to walk the earth. What little faith I have left in humanity will be lost if he is elected. Republicans are stupid Wiis, I can insult if I want. YOU GET OVER IT. I AM STATING MY OPINION.
Speaking your opinion is one thing, but insulting other people for their opinions is wrong.

I am not happy with any of the candidates(democratic, republican, or a third party), but any of them are better than Santorum.
It is because I am growing more and more disgusted by his actions. He has proven to be the most intolerant candidate, or at least the most intolerant in public. He publicly degrades homosexuals and his following is racist and homophobic. It's one thing to be homophobic, it's another to hold rallies and support your fans who publicly degrade homosexuals. He goes against socialism and other political and economic ideologies, when we have a mixed economy which is highly socialistic and capitalistic. He even calls out Obama, blaming him for issues unrelated to him(oil prices, etc...), tries to make him seem like a devil or dictator through propaganda, and has even been accused of calling him a racial slur. I am not a big supporter of Obama, but that's just pitiful and cowardly.
He also seems to have trouble understanding what's socially acceptable.

While I'm against homosexuality, that's not why I'd take him over Obama. I'd take him because it'd be funny. Like seriously, everyone would flip out.
Oh, and I don't know much about him, but I heard he was a capitalist. Which I support a lot.

That's a terrible reason.I think santorum is lulzy.

If you cannot actually look at their policies, you "heard" he was a capitalist, you are uninformed and essentially illiterate.
Besides, we live in a mixed economy. What you think is capitalism actually isn't. Our Military is the biggest socialistic implement in our country. The redistribution of taxes to them is socialism. Public education is socialistic, as the teachers are paid. In a capitalistic society, they aren't paid, so there are few who would actually bother taking up that profession.
When you get a full capitalism, it ends up failing. You lose a military, you lose all public education, and you lose all job safety and lose wages over time. The businesses in capitalism are meant to fail after they gain monopolies. The monopolies then collapse because of their self-destruction, and the process starts all over again. That is capitalism. Every time a candidate or president talks about economics, they don't know jack squat.
Capitalism is profit based. It is not for the benefit of the individuals or the rich.
