Would be a great idea. I enjoy minecraft from time to time with my friends on my xbox, and i would buy it again on the WiiU. Some type of inventory screen on the controller pad screen would be excellent.

Well considering Minecraft is on the Ouya, I presume they could bring it to which ever console they would like. Maybe the agreement was they'd have to wait a year to bring it? I am not sure. :\

Im not too sure thats been confirmed yet on the Ouya. They only had a placeholder pic of it on a prototype they had but they haven't come out and flat out said that minecraft would be on it, only that they would like it to be. They could also be talking about the minecraft pocket edition on the android market.

Either way it still wouldn't matter, if they are considering bringing it to the Ouya, which is highly likely, even if they don't it shows they could still port it over onto other consoles.

If you've heard of the ouya, notch is planning to release it for that.

it has now been confirmed that it might not be coming and that was a mistake.

Considering that its already on pc, mac, xbox live, iPod, android and possibly Ouya.

It would be great if we could get heaps of indie devs working on the WiiU, i would love to see Fez and super meat boy make an appearance on the console

Especially Fez since i don't have an 360.

I really hope minecraft comes to the Wii U. Kind of tired of XBOX Live getting all the fun indie stuff. The Miiverse is going to own Live anyways.

The Wii U is one of the perfect consoles to put it on. Make it exactly as the PC versions (without the mods) and make it the same price. You should also be able to port your PC account if you enter your password. As for the mods, it would be cool to have them, but who knows.
