Well I thought it would be great if you could like a status. That's it... yeah.

Thanks in advance :)

That used to be possible, but Feld0 removed it for unknown reasons, so I really doubt he would implement it again.

I like that idea, it would be nice to have.

If it were still possible (or once more) then IP Board would truly be a form of Facebook, with the likes, statuses, comments and whatnot :P

Probably because people kept trolling the like/dislike button.

Well, that's annoying, but can't they still enable liking statuses? It's one of the biggest things missing in my opinion.

This would be great - whenever I see a really funny or clever status I want to like it, but can't D:

Likes as currency will always happen, people like to seem popular.

Perhaps a separate like counter on statuses as opposed to lumping them together with post likes?

There is no built-in support for liking statuses in IP.Board. I installed a hook here last year that added a like feature to statuses, but it wasn't very well programmed and caused a lot of errors. I decided to remove it when IP.Board 3.2 came out and I upgraded the site to it.
