I do not think the game looks very "Metal Gear", if you ask me. But if you see it as a separate game altogether it look's pretty cool.

will honestly the thing that seperates the two is rising and solid. Metal gear is just the franchise.

i never liked the metal gear franchise though so hopefully rising or revengence will be better for me

Kojima seems like he'd be happy to put another Metal Gear game onto a Nintendo console after releasing Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D on the 3DS.

um, i watched an interview with the developers of rising. they said that it takes place after mgs4. so, even though it doesn't have the "solid" name in it, it's still a solid game.

i don't remember the name of the video. i saw it on youtube though. so, search for it. i'm sure it's still there.

i dont even care to see the metal gear solid franchise on an nintendo platform but i would love to see a different metal gear come to nintendo at one point
