Retro is officially a Nintendo studio now right? So this could only mean these persons will work on a Nintendo game. Well, I don't knkow them, but someone from Disney HAS to be good I guess. Retro is really working on something big I believe.

Yeah, Nintendo owns Retro Studio so there 2nd party.

Nope, they're a fully owned subsidiary of Nintendo, like Intelligent Systems, therefore they are first party.

Well a Naught Dog Dev, Vigil Games Dev, Sucker Punch/Zipper interactive dev, a Gearbox Dev, and a Disney interactive dev. This could mean something good, but who knows. But it is nice to see Retro hiring people as a lot of game companies are closing down especially with the recent closing of Zipper Interactive.

I agree with you. So far I looks like the Wii u will launch with titles that will already be on other platforms prior to it's release. It seems like most of the 1st party titles are still in development. I can only hope that for the last few years nintendo has been cooking up masterpiece to launch with the Wii U.man, is anyone else sort of disappointed about the timing on this, though? I was desperately hoping that Retro would have something spectacular ready for the system's launch... this seems like team-building, which is awesome for the future, but sheds some doubt on the state of Retro's current activity. I sure hope that a core team, at least, has been diligently plugging away at an epic masterpiece for the last few years...
