Damn right it does, they have to take more care and more time drawing all those pretty graphics. The developer states that development costs for Wii U are much higher than Wii titles
Bull. This isn't a direct reason costs would go up.due to the increased resolution and polygon count.
Wii U games will cost as much to make as games currently do on the other two consoles.
The developers have had those tools for 6 years too, so they've already received a considerable return on their investment on the tools required for rendering at those higher resolutions and polygon counts.

But a more powerful system is just more easy. Making high polygon 3D objects is really easy to do (I know cause I use 3D programs).
Textures is also just easier if the system can hold higher res ones. It's hard to make a low res textures because it has to be as detailed as possible while the high res, well it's a lot easier to tell what it is supposed to be.

This is good news in terms of what they say about the tech .... and it's no problem - dev costs are a problem if they aren't as productive and adaptive.
Starcraft 2 cost more than 100 million ... one example as people seem to go haywire about 60million games that ... aren't really that good. Blizzard said them self that throwing a lot of money on the project won't make it magically better.

How does this make any sense whatsoever?

That's what I was thinking. So according to these guys, the Wii U is both less powerful than the 360/PS3... AND costs more to make games for than them?
How does this make any sense whatsoever?
It's like they have their own two sources that are conflicting with each other.
This just means they are hating on Nintendo.
Negative: Higher prices for games.
Negative: Worse than current gen systems.
*They are hating.

So I'm thinking
The guy got his way because now every site is reporting his article and now he thinks every site will report to this article so he keeps on making more stuff up about the Wii U to it will be more negativity againest the Wii U. This guy now thinks he has the power to convience everyone.
This article just proved his last article is fake.
I would not be shocked if Wii U games is $60 but devs should not be complaining since they worked with 360/PS3...
So the article where he said "Wii U is weaker then current HD consoles" are fake and this article is pretty obvious Wii U games will be more expensive because of the power.
He just destoryed his own article.

Did anyone notice that this came from the same site that said "Wii U is weaker then 360/PS3" and also said on this article it's from anonymous sources, if the so called devs where real and the Wii U is weaker then 360/PS3 then devs should not be complaining about it being higher priced because they are used to the prices from 360/PS3 and it's from the same guy...
So I'm thinking

Yeah i also didn't notice what the OP was talking at first
All is clear now
This totally confirms how the "wiiu weak" is fake.

pfff.. .. send them home and get new ones, cheaper. Most of the games at date are 1-2 maximum 3 days of gaming.. They recall the cost, because they need to increase the retail, their earnings.

I told you guys, this means the price of games will go up again. Maybe not at launch, but during it's early life time. Don't get mad because you already saw this coming.
Yes, price increase on games is expected. I mean, it's only been happening EVERY generation.
Also, these testimonies debunks the other one about the Wii U being weaker than the PS3 and 360.
