So, the Wii U is less powerful than XBox 360/PS3, but it is more powerful than XBox 720/PS3. Anyone see a problem here?
Soon we will probably get rumors on the Wii U will also be cloud based like PS4 and 720.

My prediction for the next rumor
"Wii U is less powerful than the Nintendo 64"
No that's too powerful, the next rumor will be "Wii U weaker then Atari 2600".

actually I hear that Nintendo will have a addon you can buy for around 80 dollars that updates the graphics to YD-963A (System shown here but Anon Sources tell me it won't be available until 5 years after launch.WHAT!?!?!?, Wii U confirmed to be weaker then Magnavox Odyssey confirmed (Magnavox Odyssey is from the 1st gen).

Nope. 4870 doesn't have to process tesselation from DirectX 11 or support shader model 5.0. The 7000 series GPU's are doing WAY more calculations and creating better visuals while still maintaing the same performance as a 4870 (FPS, resolution, AA, etc.)I saw this on gamefaq
"according to a new article from IGN; details releasing specs about the playstation 4.
http://www.ign.com/a...rocessing-specs
The Wii U Graphics GPU will be stronger than both the Playstation 4 and the Xbox 720.
The Wii U is reportedly using the RV770 chip, which is based off the Radeon 4870 series, according to the newest rumor, the playstation 4 released rumored specs is said be be using a Radeon HD 7670 GPU Graphics Card, and the Next Xbox 720 is said to be using Radeon HD 6670 GPU Graphics Card, which is identical to the 7670, which the next sony gaming console is reported to be using.
7670=6670
http://www.techpower...70-to-OEMs.html
relatively very old graphics cards for both the 7670 and the 6670, which leads me to believe the information regarding those release specs for both graphics cards are untrue, the 4870 is relatively old by today's standards as well, but its still a relatively high end performing graphics card today for the price.
4870 ( Wii U rumored GPU) > 7670, 6670

*didn't include the lastest reported anonymous rumor regarding the Wii U graphics performance info, because there is no information facts to back it up, unlike what quoted developer's have said about the Wii U."
BTW, the Wii U GPU is customized and will most likely be a smaller GPU (40nm or 32nm) and include DirectX11 type support with the most current shader models

according to all known info Nintendo has made many modifications and tweaks since the initial reports on the 4870 (and it will likely run mirror DX11, Open CL 1.2, and Open GL 4.2), and the final GPU's for all three systems will be customized for each system's use, so these specs and numbers won't be indicative of what the GPU's will perform.

Haha! I love Dr. Ashens, he's a genius!
Believe me, rumours are going to rapidly start pouring in the closer we get to E3.
