I don't think Samaritan quality will do. It feels more like, the very best what current gen could do.

I'll search some pics of what I want. In the meantime, discuss.

I think they'll look better, but not by much.

My belief is that the use of the next gen power will go into things like physics engine horsepower and better AI.

Visually, it will be better, but I think in the sense of having more things happening. Like lets take GTA 4 for example.
If that game were programmed for a next gen console, the city would look a little better, but It'd have much more activities, more people would be walking around, they would be able to do and say a whole lot more, you'll be able to go inside of most, if not all of the buildings, things like that. The city would just be more alive, but not too much better graphically.

That's just my guess at least, based on things developers have said in the recent past.

more power will go into better physics and stuff, probably not mainly into textures. it will go into making battlefield 4 have 64 players on consoles. this is what i think at least

I agree to what has been said because now most of those funky polygons are gone from our graphics and all we really need is textures and a system that can support them. Kinda what Crackkat said and you can have allot more interaction with actual players.

I know, I was so impressed when watching it for the first time. Also the wood walls look kinda like chocolate.

I expect it to look better this gen, but not by a huge margin.

Yeah, you've done a great job so far, letting the Metal Heads destroy the palace.

I have to agree with what's already been stated. I want a marginal improvement in the actual "graphics", and most of the extra horsepower used toward better AI, Physics, and making bigger, longer games. It would be nice if the average story length went back over the 10 hour mark. Also imagine how large hand-crafted overworlds could become with the next gen if developers don't focus too heavily on graphical detail. Monolithsoft said that the overall size of Xenoblade is about that of the Japanese archipelago; so imagine what they could do with the Wii U.

I am guessing Crytek Titanic quality.

That looks ridiculously good. I don't know if next gen consoles will look that good because I don't see either of the three consoles investing heavily into the hardware because of the direction the industry is going in.

I'd rather see an improvement in AI and physics than graphics.

Oh my God that is beautiful. Wii U runs Cryengine 3, but does that instantly mean it can produce these graphics? Because Xbox 360 and PS3 can run the engine too, but I really don't see them supporting this level of graphics..

WiiU will have the power of high end PCs so I think the WiiU can run this in like 20-50 FPS.
