Developer: “We Won’t Be Working On Wii U Due To Its Complexities”

Once the console is on the market and its true potential is seen then more developers will board the Nintendo train and hopefully develop amazing ideas that will form the basis for games(and other electrical devices) for many years to come.
Oh E3 why must you take for ever to arrive
This is where it ends

Watch this video with 2 Vigil Games programmers, you'll see why i'm saying it's a fake:

Nintendo fans just can't win guys. All we can do is wait for E3 and hope that whatever is revealed manages to shut the whiners up for a while.

Mitch Dyer is an Associate Editor for IGN's Xbox 360 team.
End of Discussion.
Was about to post this. The people behind this crap are IGN Xbox editors, who have raged against Nintendo in their podcasts, making fun of them at every given chance and downtalked the Wii, Wii U and Nintendo in general.
Do not take this rubbish seriously.

2. stupid developer
3. low skill developer
4. noob developer
5. the most stupidest statement ever said
listen to the NAMED developers who already are making games, their statements are opposite

So apparently some anonymous developers said in an interview conducted by IGN that “We Won’t Be Working On Wii U Due To Its Complexities”. Meanwhile, they're throwing their full support behind the unannounced Next XBOX 720 (8) or whatever the heck you want to call it and the PlayStation consoles because of their "easiness" to develop for. - Source
Sounds like a load of garbage to me. Yet another anonymous developer claiming gloom and doom for Wii U.
I hope the Wii U is complex. Developers will actually have to put effort into their games. This would help stop the awful ports a new system gets during it's launch period. I bet this is just another developer who wants to poop on the Wii U because they won't put forth a ounce of effort.

"We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that (developers) want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so then the question is, what do you do for the rest of the nine-and-a-half years?"

I enjoy playing my PS3, it is my go console however what IGN is saying that developers find it harder to develop on Wii U than PS3? Oh please, they said that about pS3 and turns out the devs were lazy. I'm an amateur programmer, I know some code and what vigil said about adding two lines of code to the game to make it run on the controller is something I could probably do (variables tv display and controller display and active display would equal either one of those displays. The game would then run on the active display).
I'm not an expert on programming but everyone said back in the day that PS3 was impossible to develop for now we see it equal to 360, which makes me wonder if those devs were too lazy and too dependant on DirectX than OpenGL.
I don't like how people are make bold remarks that its Sony devs, im pretty sure that Nintendo and Sony rely on OpenGL, rather DX, so if anything it could just be lazy PC devs.
That's just my assumption

unless there are 3rd party dev tools saying otherwise, native opengl is easier to develop than directX, you have to pair a sound service with opengl which does not have one but that's like complaining about too many choices, because of this its kind of a given wiiu will be just as easy or easier to develop as xbox360, and ps3 is hard due to hardware not opengl
Now that proves this post is garbage, I am assuming that the problem with pPS3 was the archetecture that the cell used. That the Wii U uses Power PC instruction set or a subset of that? If that's TRUE then the whole thing doesn't make sense since the 360 uses Power Pc

Or maybe these are people who work for Nintendo and are trying to lower expectations so that we'll be that much more surprised at the amazing third-party support that Wii U will receive come E3.
