I'm not a huge fan myself but this is great for the system. While your points are valid, ianh05, the possitives more than outweigh any 'negatives' (if you could call them that, more just like reasons it may not explode like on the other consoles, which for various reasons is obvious).
You can't deny having the highest selling game of all time on your system is a bad thing at all. Bring it on.

Wow, are you the negative nancy of these boards or what? Anyways, if it wasn't coming to the U, then they would come out and say it wasn't coming to the U. Saying "We can't talk about that right now" is a round about way of saying, "You're right, but my superiors tell me I can't say anything".
wow.. Nobody says that they wont come one day, it is just not confirmed.. If u check utube, they took it in granted, maybe thats why they replied that way back... COD is not my likes, I would prefer splinter cell, medal of honor, an rts...
ps: here is another fresh news.. this is better for me.. may be MOH game.. (I registered in newsletters and news are coming every minute..)

I, personally, only own handhelds, but my dad owns every Nintendo console, a Sega Megadrive, and an Atari 2600.I think we should see Lolipop Chainsaw
All kidding aside (Although that game does look interesting), your probably best off waiting. The 720 will be out in 1-2 years, so it just seems a little late to buy a PS360. Unless your alright with being a generation behind, this generation did have a lot of great games. Just out of curiosity, what game consoles have you owned?
Another reason for wanting an Xbox 360 is because of the great games I already missed out, and not just the ones that I might miss out. I don't see a reason for RE6 and SC:BL not to come to the Wii U but you never know. But I also missed out on: Red Dead Redemption, AC games (aside from 3 if I will buy a Wii U), Halo games, GTA IV, COD games in their full glory (aside from BO2 if I'll buy a Wii U), BF3, RE5, SC: Conviction/Double Agent... Reasons enough. I know that, most likely, a new console will be out next year or so, but I can get a secondhand Xbox 360 for about 75 euros (I know about RRODs) and next-gen consoles will be expensive at launch, so I'll wait with them.
I don't see an enhanced version of BO2 as a reason to buy a Wii U to be honest.

Big blowout conference before launch to maximize hype before launch... Perfect strategy. If they announced everything right now the hype would settle before launchWhich tells us why developers arent saying anything about there games. But why is Nintendo still keeping NDA on developers?

Hmmm, well you've got a pretty nice list there, and theres plenty more. Might I make a suggestion, check out Dead Rising. It's not a survival horror, but rather a really fun zombie killing game. Also, check out Deadspace, enjoyable horror game.I hav

I doubt BO2 Wiiu will be overly enhanced, maybe a few things thrown in here and there. I'll just be happy to play a full version of a recent CoD, rather than a gimped Wii version. I suppose I could've bought them for PC, but I do love the Wiimote controls. Kinda hope it supports Wiimotes.

(Oops, I only now see the major screw-up in my previous post.. my pc was going nuts!)
Yeah I was also thinking about checking out Dead Space. The first or something, because that would be the cheapest.. (I'm gonna make a seperate topic on this, because this is going off-topic)
About BO2 Wii U version: I think you're right, most likely the only adaption is the use of the Gamepad, and maybe slightly better graphics that only graphicwhores/people who watch really closely can tell and care about. I also don't think exclusive content. Xbox versions tend to get the most attention (DLC first, stuff like that). So I think I'll be just fine with another version of the game (that is not a watered down Wii version).

That is one thing I like about the Wii versions, no DLC. I can guarantee you the Wiiu version will get DLC (Probably a month after 360). It's a real pain, because while you don't have to buy it, anytime it pops up in MP you're kicked from the group. Furthermore, $15 is a ton of money for a hand full of maps.(Oops, I only now see the major screw-up in my previous post.. my pc was going nuts!)

They are working on a CoD game, although it is not Black ops 2.
