What features do you want in the app store and why?
Journalist should ask questions about the app store.

They need to make it easy to develop for so they can get games that little companies make

Yes, but I doubt there will be many.

If it's an app it has to be professional because of scams. But games it could be awesome full games from developers like SolarLune they can sell it for cheap. Like 2-20 bux.

short load times, and I'll spend hours on there. Before I got a game console, I spent three hours some days looking at games on the Itouch app store.

I don't see why all the app developers for android and IOS wont just bring all their apps and games over to the Wii U


If its getting apps and stuff will the gamepad be able to run separately from the Wii u and compete with the iPad? or will you have to use the gamepad within a certain distance of the Wii U?

If Nintendo trying to get each and every app onto the Wii U (no charge required), I'm sure we'll get to see several apps. Imagine looking for old school tips for Super Mario Bros. 2 from Nintendo Power, or reading an eComic book from DC or Marvel, and so on...

I wouldn't mind some small games but I am more interested in keeping it a closed app store that only developers can use. What I do want are apps like twitter, or facebook, or news so i can look down and instantly see news
