I don't even care about any of those game supposedly coming out on the 13th. What I'm most interested in is that Black Friday WiiU release date. That is what worries me. Oh well, I'll find out soon enough at the Streetpass event.

That would be a really stupid release date really. Black Friday is known for being violent. I would have no fear on this.

It really is which is the main reason why I think the GS Manager may have been misinformed. I don't think Nintendo would be that stupid. But if they are then lots of gamers will be mad having to deal with the biggest crowd of the century.

Gamestop is notorious for it's employees giving false information to customers that is based purely on their own speculation.

Misinformed, potentially, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. MoH: Warfighter, Blops 2, Far Cry 3 and Hitman Absolution are titles I'd like to play on the Wii U, no doubt.

Unless my eyes deceive me, I don't think this was necessarily about launch titles. Launch window, possibly, but definitely more about titles that will come to the Wii U, assuming the info is true.

Well think about it, before every nintendo console launch (starting with the wii, if i'm not mistaken) nintendo holds a conference in New York, where they announce launch titles, date and price, so there is a huge chance September 13th will be the day.

This. November 18th 2001 (Gamecube Launch) was a Sunday. November 19th 2006 (Wii Launch) was a Sunday. So, we are probably looking at the 11th (the rumored date) or the 18th since they are both Sundays.

And as others have said...Black Friday would be a disaster.

Now, I am sure that stores will have special Black Friday sales and bundles for the U...but that would be insanity to try and get. I will just pick mine up a week or two earlier from a pre-order.

I'm guessing the Sunday before Thanksgiving/Black Friday, or a week after the Sunday that follows. If they do it Sunday during Holiday weekend, they run the risk of store releasing it early...
