- It was originally titled "New Super Mario Bros Mii."
- You are able to play as your Mii
- Its a sidescroller
- The main characters are Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad, and Yellow Toad
- There are fire flowers
- There are ice flowers
- There are super acorns (the acorn mushroom)
- Yoshi will be in the game
- Baby yoshis will be in the game (Blue = Bubbles) (Purple = Balloon) (Yellow = Glows)
- There would be goombas that represent acorns
- There would be flying squirrel enemies
- There would be boost mode (touch gamepad and block appears)
- There would be green rings that give you green coins (similar to red ring = red coins)
- Worlds = Acorn Plains, Sparkling Waters, Frosted Glacier, Layer Cake Desert
- There would be Toad Houses
- When a character is AFK, he looks at the screen
- Game will run in 720p

Yeah it's kind of upsetting it seems like this game would be easier to put in 1080p than most others too.

Wow... The game looks amazing!

Also you can play with 5 people on New Super Mario Bros U. 4 players use the Wii motes and the other 1 player uses the pad. The pad player can click the screen with the stylus and create colour platforms players can jump onto. I think I am right on this if I am mistaken please someone correct me.

EDIT: I just read the OP post again he indeed said about this. Silly me.

With Nintendo really focusing in on the social aspect in Miiverse, I'd hope most games with be co-op.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm still all over this game, 1080p or not. However, 1080p needs to become standard.

agreed. I was more upset about the universe comment. It reminds me of galaxy which was my least favorite Mario game of all time. It was Waaaayyyyy to linear for a 3D Mario game.

DAMN, NINTENDO, WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST MAKE IT NEW SUPER MARIO WORLD?

I'm really, really dissapointed in them for creating such an awesome game that is worthy of the title SMW3/NSMW in Bros. style.. It would have been a dream come true, literally...

But oh well. We have baby Yoshis and some wicked level designs. I'll enjoy the crap out of this.

Alright, don't laugh at me, but... Can we start a petition for a namechange? ;-; This game is almost exactly what I wanted for like... since I beat SMW.

The more I see this game the more excited I get for it. I never played NSMB or NSMB Wii so this is all kind of new and cool to me. The only thing missing is for them to rename it to New Super Mario World
